Metal Sequestrants

Recommended for newer pools, this monthly treatment helps prevent metal stains, and scaling and extends the life of your pool equipment. It draws metals to the filter instead of letting them cling to pool surfaces.

Annual Filter Replacement

Factory recommendations suggest replacing filters at least once (1x) a year.
We encourage clients to enroll in automatic annual filter replacements for peak performance year-round.
Seasonal changes (fall leaves, rain, pollen, bugs) can shorten filter life, making regular replacements essential.

Pool Repairs & Preventative Maintenance

Our Lead Repair Technician has over 46 years of experience and oversees all repairs, remodels, and renovations. We handle all pool repairs with precision and expertise.

Standard Replacement Items (Under $45)

For small maintenance needs like O-rings, baskets, pressure gauges, air relief valves, water timers, and an initial dose of optimizer, we will replace them as needed to ensure your pool runs optimally.

For any items over $45, we will notify you before proceeding with a replacement. All repairs and installs are billed upon completion and charged to the card on file.

How long have we been in the industry?
Darren Grovatt (the owner) of Ultramarine Pools LLC started as a pool technician in 2003, servicing pools on a weekly basis in the area of Orlando. When you work in clients’ backyards, where they go to relax, you never know who you are going to meet. He’s worked for school teachers, firefighters, police, professional athletes, actors, and even the ambassador of Egypt. The overwhelming hospitality received by his clients has been what made him want to go out on his own.

After working in the industry for two pool companies as an employee, he honed his craft and went out on his own in 2008, forming Ultramarine Pools. He experienced different perspectives and certainly how to treat his clients and team members.

Are We a Licensed Contractor and/or CPO/CPI Certified?

Each team member holds their current Certified Pool Operator’s License (CPO), which only about 20% of technicians in the field have, which sets them apart from other pool companies. They know the importance of why chemicals need to be at healthy levels, and why and what certain equipment may need to be brought up to code to make them safer.

Once our technicians obtain their CPO, we encourage them to continue their pool knowledge by becoming a Certified Pool Inspection (CPI) Specialist. Oftentimes buying a home is the most expensive purchase in someone’s lifetime. We bring peace of mind by offering up to a 20-page full-color detailed report with pictures and notes on any of our findings. Any issues are shared in the report along with a summary of the estimated cost for the repair. This can help to make sure you are making the right decision and often brings much-needed bargaining chips to the closing table. Many realtors trust our Pre-Home Pool Inspections on top of a Home Inspection, as the ultimate edge.
We are also a licensed contractor. We can make your pool look new again with a new surface, coping, tile, deck, or handrail, and can update and repair pool equipment. When we remodel pools, our lead mechanic, who has been in the industry since 1979, oversees every renovation. We only take on one pool remodel at a time and see it through until it is done. No deposits upfront. Instead, a draw schedule is coordinated, with the first draw due on the day we start.
